Revive Hub runs this website. This page explains what the site collects when you visit it, why, and what you can do about it. It covers the website only, not what happens in the studio or in the booking system.

If anything here isn’t clear, email revivehub@hotmail.com and ask.

When you fill in the contact form

The form asks for your name, your email address, your phone number and your message. That’s all it asks for and all it sends. We ask for a number because most questions about which session suits you are quicker to answer on the phone than over email.

When you submit it, those four things are emailed straight to us through a service called Resend, which handles the delivery. Nothing you type is saved to a database, here or anywhere else. There’s no list of people who have enquired. Your message sits in our email inbox the same way any other email would.

We use what you send to reply to you. We don’t sell it, and we don’t pass it on to anyone else.

When you just look around

Two tools measure how the site is used.

PostHog counts visits: which pages get looked at, roughly where in the world you are, what kind of device you’re on, and which links get clicked. It doesn’t know your name and it isn’t reading anything you type into the form.

The Meta pixel records that a visit happened and which pages were viewed, and reports it to Meta, the company behind Facebook and Instagram. It’s there so we can tell whether the ads we run are bringing anyone to the site. Meta may use that information alongside what it already knows about its own users, which is how advertising on those platforms works. The pixel doesn’t read anything you type into the contact form.

Cookies

Both tools use cookies, which are small files a website stores in your browser. Here they’re used to tell a returning visitor from a new one, so a person who looks at three pages isn’t counted as three different people. They aren’t used to identify you by name and we don’t use cookies to advertise to you on this site.

Your browser can block or delete cookies at any time, and the settings below go further than that.

Turning it off

You don’t have to accept any of it.

  • An ad blocker stops both tools. uBlock Origin is free and blocks the Meta pixel outright.
  • Your browser settings can block third-party cookies, which stops most of the tracking on this site.
  • Meta’s own controls are at facebook.com/adpreferences, under Ad settings, where you can limit what Meta does with activity from sites like this one.
  • Do Not Track, if your browser sends it, is honoured by PostHog.

Blocking any of this doesn’t break the site. Everything works the same and you can still book and still contact us.

Booking and other sites

The booking calendar, packages, memberships and gift vouchers on this site are provided by Arketa, the studio’s booking system. They run in a window on our booking and gift voucher pages, so you stay on this site to book, but anything you type into that window, your name, your contact details and your card details included, goes to Arketa and never through this site. Arketa’s own privacy policy covers what they do with it. Same for Facebook and Instagram when you follow the links in the footer: once you’re there, their rules apply, not these.

Your information

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it. Email revivehub@hotmail.com and we’ll sort it out.

In practice there usually isn’t much to hold: unless you’ve emailed us or filled in the form, we don’t have anything with your name on it.

Children

This site isn’t aimed at children and we don’t knowingly collect anything from them.

Changes

If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
